Disclaimer, this is a rough draft, I want input on things to add so its not just personally built off my experiences.
To start with this is for Neurodivergent people who have troubles socialising whether your too open or not open enough this will hopefully help.
Most people here already understand that looks are the foundation. What a lot of ND guys miss is that neurodivergence itself can act like a soft maxxing failure if you don’t manage it. This guide is for guys who are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise ND and want to close the gap between how they naturally operate and how NT people actually move through social and sexual markets.
This is not about “curing” yourself. It’s about reducing the friction that comes from mismatched social software.
1. Identify the issue
This step is usually pretty difficult in the sense that no one really tells you the nitty gritty details.
Often it’ll normally come under these branches:
.Flat or mismatched facial affect
.Poor eye contact or overly intense staring
.Info-dumping / monologuing
.Delayed or missing social reciprocity
.Awkward body language and spatial awareness
.Oversharing or under-filtering
.Difficulty reading subtle rejection or interest signals
.Monotone or weird prosody (voice goes flat, volume jumps, or you talk too fast/slow without realising)
.Taking things too literally and missing subtext/jokes
.Unusual pauses or taking too long to reply because you’re processing
Theres many more but these are the large issues, I’ll get to the smaller ones later. These traits don’t cook you, but they do make average or slightly above-average looks feel lower than they should in society causing you to think the problem is looks. A 7 face who’s NT will often outperform a 7.5 face that couldn’t hold eye contact for more than 15 seconds or talks like a robot.
2. Facial expressions
NT people expect a certain amount of facial movement and emotional leakage. If your default face is blank or your expressions lag, people subconsciously rate you as lower status or harder to read.
Practical fixes:
.Practice micro-expressions in the mirror (slight smile, raised eyebrows, controlled brow tension). Film it, most ND guys think they’re smiling when their face barely moves.
.When listening, give small nods and occasional short verbal acknowledgments (“yeah”, “right”, “makes sense”).
.Eye contact should be intermittent, not locked. Aim for 3–5 seconds, then break naturally by looking at their mouth or slightly off to the side before returning.
.If maintaining eye contact is draining, look at the bridge of the nose or the space between the eyes.
.Most people can’t tell the difference.
For a day try being exaggerated with your expressions, exaggerated for you is likely normal.
.During that day pick up on feedback from people whether they smile or frown when you do it, if they frown tone it down 10%, if they smile make a mental or physical note associating it to that activity.
Bonus: practice the “polite interest” face (slight eyebrow raise + soft smile) until it becomes automatic when someone is talking. A lot of ND guys default to blank or intense and it kills the vibe even if the words are fine.
3. Conversation Structure
ND conversation often fails in two ways: either you dominate with a topic dump, or you go silent because you don’t know the “correct” thing to say.
Use a simple loop instead:
.Ask a question
.Listen and pick one detail
.Comment on that detail or ask a follow-up
.Add a short related statement about yourself
.Hand it back with another question
Keep your own statements shorter than you feel is natural. Most ND guys overestimate how long they should talk. Aim for 20–40 seconds max before returning the ball.
Another thing to note which is an unfortunate truth you gotta get used to, is that everyone’s favourite thing is themselves. Think of the questions you want them to ask you and ask them that, if they ask questions you answer and reply asking, “what about you”, and the more you do this in one convo they’ll pick up and ask you too. DO NOT bud in, cut them off, nitpick, or put down their answer until you’ve gotten to know them or its a widely known falsehood/bad take that isn’t niche within a small community. You want people to like you and associate you with kindness and genuine interest.
If you notice yourself info-dumping, cut it short with “anyway…” or “but enough about that” and ask them something.
Niche tip: if your special interest comes up, give a 15–20 second version max the first time. If they ask follow-ups, then you can go longer. NTs will usually signal if they actually want the deep dive. Also watch for the “glazed over” look or them checking their phone that’s your cue to hand the ball back immediately.
4. Body Language and Presence
A lot of ND guys carry tension or move in a slightly off way. This is noticeable.
Basic corrections:
.Keep your shoulders down and chest relatively open, often mimicking the way the other person idles (pro tip, watch them subtly for a few mins beforehand and perfect it before initiating)
.Avoid excessive fidgeting or rocking but this ain’t that bad if you need to stim, switch to something lowkey like fiddling with a ring, pen, or phone in your pocket so it doesn’t scream “nervous”
.When standing, distribute weight evenly instead of shifting constantly this gives off a calm vibe and sets for an easier conversation
.Match the other person’s energy level instead of staying in your default state
.Practice walking with purpose (shoulders move when you walk, steady pace but not too slow, slightly faster than others and make sure to swing arms). Slow, hesitant movement reads as low confidence.
.Filming yourself in conversation or while walking is one of the highest ROI things you can do. Most people are shocked by how they actually come across so use this and refine refine refine till you got how you wanna be
.
Personal space: ND guys often stand too close or too far. Default to about an arm’s length in normal convo and adjust based on how the other person moves. If they keep stepping back, you’re too close.
5. Emotional Regulation and Overstimulation
Sensory overload and emotional flooding will break your presentation fast. If you know certain environments drain you, limit time in them or have exit strategies.
Useful tools:
.Noise-cancelling earbuds when you need to reset
.Having a short “recharge” phrase ready (“I’m gonna step out for a minute” or depending on device setup a fake call device and time it for a certain time as an excuse)
.Not forcing long social sessions when you’re already depleted
.Pre-load recovery time after high-masking events. A lot of guys crash hard the next day and then wonder why their social battery is cooked for 48 hours
Burnout from heavy masking is real. You don’t need to run full NT mode 24/7. Prioritize it in high-stakes situations (dates, interviews, status-relevant social settings) and allow recovery time afterward or when no ones around. If you feel a shutdown or meltdown coming, exit early rather than white knuckling it people remember the weird energy more than they remember you leaving after an hour.
6. Looksmaxxing Still Comes First
Better looks buy you more tolerance for residual ND traits. A sharp jaw, good frame, clear skin, and solid style give you a buffer. People forgive more awkwardness from someone they find attractive. Don’t use ND as an excuse to neglect the physical side. No amount of personality can make up for drastically better looks, abuse noots or recs if your good looking and just want extra edge on the confidence.
Also worth noting: good style and grooming can partially mask some of the body language weirdness. Clean haircut, fitted clothes that show frame, and solid posture do a lot of heavy lifting when your social timing is still mid.
7. Realistic Expectations
You will probably never feel fully natural as a NT. That’s fine. The goal is functional, not authentic in every moment. Many successful ND men run a controlled version of themselves in public and drop the mask with people they trust.
Progress is usually incremental. Record yourself, get honest ratings on your social presence (not just your face), and iterate.
If you’re already deep into heavy methods or advanced sides of surface shit, treating your social presentation with the same seriousness is the logical next step. Looks open the door. How you carry yourself decides how long you stay in the room.
Expect plateaus. You’ll get better at the basics then hit a wall where you still miss subtle cues or overthink. That’s normal. The guys who keep climbing are the ones who keep filming, keep getting feedback, and keep adjusting instead of saying “this is just how I am.”
8. Pharma is the way
Whether it be roids or GABAergics, it’ll mog any sort of training or method. This applies to soft or hardmaxxes. My personal opinion as the best all rounder, is to look into steroids. Roids will ascend you (depending on age) and if used right (DYOR min of 1+ year) can do more for you than everything you can think of, it’ll lower inhibition and you’ll be a sick cunt.
Some guys also stack low dose GABAergics or other calming agents for social situations specifically because pure behavioural practice still leaves the nervous system fried. Just don’t treat it like a permanent replacement for the skill work the compounds make the training stick faster and feel less forced.
