In my previous thread, I talked about nerds. In this thread, I’ll be talking about popular kids.
As everyone knows here, a popular kid is just someone with status in school. This can go hand in hand with a jock, or party kid, etc.
For obvious reasons it’s ideal to become friends with them, so that’s not the point of this thread. The point will be how.
- Groom yourself
If you want to be taken seriously by anybody, let alone a popular kid, you must groom yourself. This doesnt mean to be an absolute tryhard, but do the bare minimum 4 step combo. Shower, moisturizer, cologne, clean clothes
- Improve your looks
To become in with the popular kids, you have to be at least 4 PSL. Many people here will take issue with that and think it’s higher, but the requirement isn’t that high. You don’t need to be chad in order to be popular, you just need to be average, since that means you won’t be unpleasant to look at.
You obviously need something to back your looks in that scenario though, since 4 PSL can’t become popular on its own. Which leads to the next point
- Do sports
Sports is a top tier way of building connections with jocks who then can bring you to parties and reserve a seat for you with the popular kids during lunchtime, which further boosts SMV. You don’t have to be good, just competent. there’s no reason why you can’t become at least competent at something like football or rugby, which is jock central.
- Do not associate yourself with low SMV people
if you associate yourself with low SMV people for long enough, everyone will associate you with them, which therefore means you will be considered as low SMV. Therefore the popular kids won’t accept you, unless you ascend hard or Accomplish an incredible feat in sports
- Dont try too hard to get in with the popular kids
if they don’t accept you they don’t accept you. Try. But have self respect. Do not be a dog. I myself have seen situations In which they accept somebody who wants to join them so bad and then is treated like an absolute dog. The errand boy, the punching bag. Unless you enjoy taking insults and fetching stuff they are too lazy to grab, avoid this.
- Switch schools If you are already known
People’s perception of you cannot switch if they know you by name for 1 year.
- assume the role of quiet, but Nt guy
People may disagree with this but in my opinion, since you’re already aspie and borderline non NT, you should not set yourself to potentially put yourself as a frauder who has a damaged mental state. You should hide as much as you can and speak as little as possible, but speak enough to be NT. Interject when needed, make comments when needed, laugh along when needed. But don’t actually become invested into the conversation, because you aren’t ready for that step. You have too much too lose.
- Start using social media
If you succeed on with the initial stages of this plan it’s imperative you soak up the followers and likes that come as a result. Post NT pictures once every 3 months.
I’m not saying becoming one of the popular kids is easy, but having dedication to achieve it will put you in a better place than most ppl, who just accept their fate. You may also have a perfect opprotunity land in your lap (as is what happened for me)
