Whenever I sit down/squat/sit on my knees I have near perfect posture, but when I stand up my neck (well probably from in between my shoulder blade to top of the neck) shrinks and can't extend unless I bring it forward a ton. Whenever I measure the difference between my upper body height standing vs sitting, I am pretty consistently an inch shorter when standing at the bare minimum, though I'd say closer to an inch and a half. At first I thought my issue was just apt/hyperlordosis, but now I think that it is either just part of it or just a byproduct of my upper back imbalance. Lately I've been practicing chin tucks while holding a posterior pelvic tilt, and I've definitely felt it aggravating in between my shoulder blades and the sides of my neck. I've been to 3 different physical therapists, and none of them have really found out what's going on. I've also repeatedly looked online and found next to nothing. I know it's a shot in the dark, but frankly I figured I have a better shot with finding an answer and if I'm on the right path with one of you autists than on reddit or some shit.
