How do i improve my neck size in order to have better proportions? Should I do the exercises that boxers do? Or will it ruin my appeal?
Any advice on neck exercises?

Do not do the Mike tyson neck rolling shit. It can and may damage your spine.

Definitely start off with body weight only. You can hang your head on the end of your bed, focus on TUT (time under tension), slow, controlled reps. Really focus on squeezing those muscles.

Neck curls hanging off bed
Turn around and do the same with the back of your head attempting to tilt your scalp until your traps almost.
Turn on your side and repeat for both sides, for a lateral version.

It's difficult to explain, just search up neck exercises without bodyweight.

Regarding your comment:
Or will it ruin my appeal?
It will not. It will only help your appeal, a thick neck is a dominant signal, which is important to signal to other men and woman. Develop your traps alongside.

Does this activate/train the traps? Or am I being paranoid.

Yes, not sufficient for a trap exercise alone though, barbell shrugs, DB shrugs, rows would be.

The front part of your neck is the Sternocleidomastoid. Then we have Deep cervical flexors and extensors, Splenius muscles, Suboccipitals

The upper portion of the trapezius will assist especially if you're doing neck extension movements, Isometric stabilization, Heavy or poorly controlled reps, or in general exercises where your shoulders elevate slightly.

Conclusion:
Neck curls are based and mog.
Training neck is not sufficient for training traps. It's simply a second activation, not a primary driver.

Understood, as confirmation for what you have just said. Doing neck curls and the different variants of them would not increase my trap size noticeably. Right?

Just do Barbell Shrugs and face pulls for traps G

If you're training neck without training traps, kind of defeating half of the equation. Thick traps help support the appearance of a thick neck.

It's not going to increase it noticeably compared to banging out traps isolated or shrugs. But, traps are important for a beefy and muscular look.
