Can you buid neck thickness while in a caloric deficit. Im cutting to get to 12% body fat. Can i still build thickness for neck through compostion or do i have to be in a surplus?

Yes. Forward curl. Backward curl. Side curls. All with plate after good warmup. 15 plus reps. Lookup jeff nippard on utube for instuctions

If youre new to training neck 100%... i had decent neck development from deads and rows but when i did my cut and decided to throw in abs and neck day to spread out volume.. my neck blew up from just adding the aspie neck curl exercises. It was like getting newbie gains again ngl.

Dont break ur shit tho.. if ur like me ur joints rnt 100% on a a cut so progress slowly

Thats what i was hoping newbie gains cause i never did neck before.

i did go pretty hard on neck day at home..

oh and after working front muscles of your neck try mewing... it was a shocking feeling... felt like tongue could exert like 10x the pressure tbh

Damn. Thats exactly what i do. Im up to a 45 plate for upward curl row and 25 for side curl. How heavy did u go?

I have a neck harness thingy from amazon. So the weight is 100% transferred to neck and is harder. I do high reps and havent gone past 35lbs for 20 reps. Key is volume!!

Yeah i heard u need to do at least 15 reps but u should still do progressive overload once it becomes easy to do.
