the way episodes are written, fights made without imagination and slow pacing, it is kind of bad ngl
maybe the budget was low or the animators lazy but the animations not really that great either
fuck this anime tbh hardly watchable for me

Give yu yu hakusho (dub) a chance you wouldn't be disappointed. Cowboy has great animation and is chill but imo yu yu is 1 step above.

Most important is that it doesn't feel like a show for retarded kids like most anime.
