I decided to take her out on a formal date where we weren’t both drunk and I wasn’t high beyond function. I picked her up for a movie and almost immediately we started making out, but towards the end she started saying “no” whenever I reached over to kiss her and turned her head away. One of them was particularly brutal and she turned her head away completely dodging my kiss. On the way out of the theater I put my arm around her and she wiggled her way out and called me a weirdo.

We went to the beach and talked for like 3 hours, at one point I had both of my hands on her face but she turned away and wouldn’t make eye contact. At this point I thought it was over, obviously she wasn’t feeling me so I told her to be quiet because she wouldn’t stop talking and I drove her home in the dark completely silent. Once we got to her house she looked over all happy and asked if I was gonna say goodbye to her. I was feeling angry and confused but she said “really??” then I leaned over and kissed her. She seemed really happy and wouldn’t stop texting me when I got home. If she likes me why did she turn away like 5 times when I kept trying to kiss her???
