Need Advice - Moderate vs High dose Isotret

I have disgusting nodulocystic acne all over my face 2 weeks into increasing my dose from
20—> 40mgs accutane.

For context im 155lbs 16%bf—My derm started me on 20mg for 4 weeks then increased to 40mgs and now i look fucking hideous. The initial pimply purge has started to subside, but I still have these disgusting ass cysts all over my face jfl

Tbh my skin aint even that dry either, but my joints are disintegrating

College starts back up in a few weeks and im wondering if i should just ignore my derm and full blast this shit to get it over with?

He just prescribed me prednisone to bring down the big ass lumps on my fkn face, so ill try that first before increasing

Any advice helps

Tldr: every time i look in the minor i genuinely want to kms, i know the purge will end eventually, but this shit is fkn brutal

I'd recommend doing ur research, blasting certain stuff can lend diminishing return and butt fuck you with sides. I myself don't know about isotret so do some research on it first

listen to ur derm, it takes time, isotret will get rid of the acne, just wait a few more weeks
