19 years old, 5'10, 142 lbs. Fairly lean but I just don’t carry much muscle. Genetically store a lot of fat in my face, which made me scared to bulk for a long time.

However, I recently did 3 sessions of Lipo Vela and my face has leaned out a lot more. Finally feel like I can gain weight without the face getting too puffy.

Also diagnosed with HGH deficiency when I was younger (was on prescribed HGH from 11-14). Makes it harder for me to put on muscle now.

Upper/Lower 6x a week
3,037 calories (185P / 352C / 105F)
Sleeping ~8 hours most nights
Not interested in test right now

Thoughts on running tesamorelin?

Open to any other advice on training, food, or recovery.

I don’t see a difference

Bulk, but do it conservatively. Gaining something like 1-2lbs a month seems to be plenty according to recent scientific evidence, which means eating just 100-300 calories above your maintenance or so.

Regarding training your actual split doesn't matter at all. UL 6x a week sounds kinda stupid to me unless you want absolutely gigantic legs. You generally wanna get in a lot of volume but keep each set close to failure and done in as fresh of a state as possible. That means having a more flexible split like some sort of full body where you train whatever muscle group you need to train each day, or a PPL (to get in more upper body volume) makes more sense.

The idea is that you might grow best from say 12-20+ sets of each muscle group a week, but to maximize looks you generally want your shoulders, back, upper chest and arms to be biggest - not get a fat pair of legs that gives you more of an X taper rather than a V taper. So logically it would then make sense to give yourself more room to split that upper body volume across (probably 80+ sets) instead of having 3 days for lower body (which might only require 20 or so sets in total to grow).

why would u bulk in the first? u build muscle in grams so a maintenance is enough no need for a bulk
ur fat intake is way to high go down to 50-60g and replace the kcal with carbs also eat less proteins 1.6-1.8g per kg is enough

Yeah might switch to Push Pull with having leg extensions in one day as well as leg curl in another.
