I bought oxytocin nasal spray and I want advice on how to dose it.
My goal is socialiability and euphoria for as needed use, might switch to constant if it actually works. I will post my experience in a future thread so stayed tuned if interested. I am also interested in increasing cognition and improving sexual function.
I saw a study by a researcher at KCL who dosed it at 40 IU (10 0.1ml sprays containing 4IU each) however this study is primarily about how oxytocin delivered through a nasal spray reaches the brain very well and intravenous injections are very ineffective. Doesn’t go into much detail over effects on mood and cognition but is a very detailed high quality study (Only 17 participants though). I have linked it below.

Optimising use of the 'hug hormone' to help those with social difficulties | King's College London
New research has provided important insight into how oxytocin could be administered in a more targeted and effective way to help treat social problems that occur in a range of psychiatric disorders.

Effects of route of administration on oxytocin-induced changes in regional cerebral blood flow in humans - Nature Communications
Intranasal oxytocin can affect brain function either by direct entry to the brain or by increasing oxytocin levels in blood plasma. Here, the authors show that increases in plasmatic oxytocin account for some but not all of the changes observed following intranasal oxytocin administration.
