first of all measure your bite to see if it’s even narrow and if you need an expander and remember that a palate isn’t a miracle device all it does is improves your health (breathing mainly) only if you actually need it and therefore by extension your looks

What is your intermolar width.

Get some cardstock paper , then bite down. And you will get an impression of your teeth.

Then measure the intermolar width(width between molars).

Do not get MSE if you do not need it
