NEED ADVICE: ORTHODONTIST APPOINTMENT TOMORROW

I'm newly 19 and returning to the orthodontist tomorrow. I had braces when I was younger and I am unsure if my recessed maxilla and jaw are a result of that, but regardless I am looking to get some sort of treatment done (whether that be MSE, MARPE, a palatal expander, etc.) to promote forward growth. I am afraid that my orthodontist will think I do not require any sort of expansionary treatment as an attempt to protect his ego from realizing he recessed the fuck out of me when I was a kid. I have trouble breathing through my nose, my tongue doesn't fit in my palate, I experience jaw pain when I chew, and I can't breathe while lying on my back without jutting my jaw forward. OTHER THAN THESE SYMPTOMS, does anyone (especially those who have had orthodontic expansion done on themselves) have advice on anything additional to complain to the orthodontist about to increase my chances of getting expansionary work done?

I think if your palate is genuinely narrow then you shouldn't have any issues being a MARPE candidate. I can't testify what results would be like because I have not had it done. Just made a post asking for advice

I’m 15 and managed to secure a MARPE saying these things (even tho my palate isn’t that narrow):
- struggle breathing at night, often waking up breathless
- shortness of breath when idle/not focusing on breathing
- feeling of restlessness/stress when nosebreathing
- tongue doesn’t fit on palate
- difficultly talking without slurring/lisping due to lack of room to put tongue (it’s helpful to give yourself a slight lisp when talking to the ortho)
- It’s helpful to bring up stats regarding airway size and life expectancy
- say you snore often and have sleep apnea
- say you’re lead a very active lifestyle and your upper palate is hindering this and substantially lowering your day to day life quality
- And most importantly, from now until your appointment, bite your tongue with your teeth so by tomorrow you have teeth marks on your tongue. My ortho said this was why she gave me my MARPE
