Need advice with orthodontic intervention

I am having a check up on May 5th and i scheduled it because i have an overbite and i suspect its type 2.
Thank the Lord im still in puberty and im gonna ascend.
But i was wondering, what appliance should i decline, accept, or suggest?
Only appliances i know of that fix and overbite are herbst and twin block but i have no idea about the pros and cons of neither.
I think my palate is ok, i dont have crowding and my teeth are straight.
Are there cons on either of the appliances (herbst, twin block) that are similar to that of braces, where the orthocel will give u braces when ur palate is small asf and make ur airways fucked. Lmk.
