What orthodontric pricedure should I follow? 17yo currently.
I have a pretty dislodged row of teeth which reaults in me having an overbite of doom and misery, my bottom row teeth touch the top pallete and gums, im majorly looking into braces however Ive heard stories of braces recessing your maxilla and whatnot, obviously taken with a grain of salt but im wondering whats the best procedure? INVISALIGN? Braces? If so which type
May be copecel behaviour but it really ruins my lower third ratio while I do knkw I have a long midface and FWHR isnt ideal from bottom row, I feel like proper teeth alignment could fix it.

definitely go to an orthodontist if your bottom teeth are touching you palate that shi aint right, for a bad overbite where your bottom teeth hit your palate, braces usually work better than Invisalign, don’t worry about braces shrinking your face that’s mostly a myth tell your orthodontist exactly how your teeth hit, ask about braces vs. surgery, and make sure they’ll monitor your profile
