Need bite blocks to fix ccw rotation but don’t have any need besides cosmetic

I’m going to the dentist tomorrow and I don’t normally have issues with my teeth. However my ccw rotation is really bad and I need bite blocks to fix it. The thing is I don’t have any need for them besides cosmetic, so how would I go about asking the dentist and my dad for them. A year or two ago they said I might need braces but only because my teeth align like this(2nd picture) and should align like this(3rd picture). What can I do?
