I posted a thread a while ago, about my surgery plan which consisted of Trimax, Malar Implants, Upper Blepharoplasty, and Otoplasty.
I was told by most people that Trimax wasn't worth it in my case, which I totally understand considering the recession isn't too bad and genioplasty would provide enough from improvement from the side.
However, my reasoning for Trimax goes deeper. I have a noticeable amount of asymmetry (more than "asymmetry is normal" — multiple surgeons see this as a complicated case in terms of finding the correct midline) which double jaw surgery would help fix, and I also think it would help expand my soft tissue and create more facial angularity, which I lack due to my overall face shape considering I'm at ~10% body fat. No surgeon I've talked to has said that they think double jaw surgery wouldn't be worth it (not that surprising), but I'm preparing to do orthodontics before, and I had an orthodontist today try to me tell that there isn't that much room for advancement, and we discussed the recession not being super severe.
The thing is, I think a little advancement and asymmetry correction will provide subtle, but positive results for me and, in terms of effort and money, I'm willing to do it.
So my question is, given my motives and what I've mentioned, do you think trimax is the route to go? I'm worried if I only got genioplasty I may regret not going all in with double jaw surgery. However, if I got genioplasty, I would try to bring a more advanced and lengthened chin similar to @TransactionalLife2 life's genioplasty ascension (pictures of his before after in comments).
