Need help with a question regarding antibiotics

i just had a trip to the derma and i was prescribed tretinoin + an antibiotic called Bactrim. does anyone have experience with this and should I take it to stop cysts from forming or will it cause problems to my gut? what measures should i take while on it to prevent it from causing damage?
