from the first day ive had a huge crush on one girl but i was too scared to flirt with her as i didnt want to be seen as this weirdo and potentionally ruin a friend group which we were both part of if things went wrong

but starting the second year, 2 of my classmates started flirting with 2 girls from the class so now i feel kinda retarded for overcomplicating things in my head and not making a move sooner

so i feel like now is the time that i try talking to her more

is it a good idea? and how do i escalate things?

even though we share every class, i havent really talked to her at all
