Need Help with posting text

Okay, I might be stupid or something, but on mobile, how do I paste text that I copied? It’s a long list of questions to give advice to a user through PM. And I don’t want to rewrite it all; I’d also probably end up also needing to copy and paste it again in the future, as well. When I copy the text, and “paste” into the text box, nothing shows up.

ctrl v paste

if on on phone, press down finger for few secornds until clipboard option shows, then look through clipboard for what you want to copy and paste

I do exactly that, but absolutely nothing shows up lol
I’m on iPhone btw, laptop is broken atm so idk if it’s just that pasting doesn’t work on this forum for iPhone?
