You upvoted (heart reacted) me when I suggested to you supplementing vit C with MSM.

I mean C is antioxidant if it's true why would you supplement it then?

Because my aim is to lighten skin by a shade or so after I get lean, I dont care aobut the slight detriments from supplementing it for a month or so. And I was thinking more topical vitamin C as most oral supps are contaminated. I use lycopene even though Ik it decreases DHT production for example.

There's not much to add, I largely agree with the article. The only potential counter-argument I can come up with is that antioxidant requirements can vary among individuals due to factors like age, gender, genetics, and overall health. Some people might benefit from antioxidant supplementation, especially when dealing with specific health conditions or deficiencies. The body's natural antioxidant defense system may not always suffice to combat high levels of oxidative stress, mostly in cases of chronic disease. In these instances, adding antioxidant supplementation to treatment plans is beneficial in my opinion. Nevertheless, for most individuals, I concur that the body's inherent ability to produce antioxidants and natural sources are superior to artificial alternatives.

Thanks for the input.

Well I do supplement with vit C 1000mg 3 days then day off and so on. It really helps with skin and collagen... should I keep cycling it the way I'm on it?

Yes, I would continue using it if you have noticed improvements in your health or skin. Otherwise, you might be squandering your money.
