As you can see the ephysial growth plates have fused with the distal radius having closed recently, im asking the ones here experienced in radiology or having had an xray themselves to asses the bone age and how much cm or inches this individual has left to possible grow.
The hand belongs to a 17 year old ---> @Bonesmashmaxxer
He said himself that he was a late bloomer having started puberty late 14.

Distal radius growth plate is fused, fusion of the phalangeal and metacarpal epiphyses too. Carpal bones are fully ossified. Assuming all long bone growth plates are nearing closure at a 17-18-year-old skeletal age, you can expect at max, 1cm. But no growth is pretty plausible too. In late bloomers, slight growth may continue but it's generally negligible.

Are you sure? isnt there a chance my knee and spine growth plates close later than normal? my dad for example kept growing until he was 25 years old and he became 187cm.

The spine and pelvic plates are among the last to fuse, they can continue slowly into early-mid 20s. If your dad had a similar pattern, you might still be able to gain up to 1-2cm. True growth past 18-20 is rare unless you're unusually delayed in skeletal maturation which you're not. Even late bloomers are done usually by 18-20.

:feelswhy: what if i take hgh and ai

How come?
You'd only benefit only if your knee and spine plates are still open. Too late to slow bone closure with AI, plus the window is very narrow to close axial skeleton plates at your age and bone maturity.

There's a tiny chance it might help a bit if your knee or spine are still open (you would need imaging to show this), but incredibly unlikely and would be minimal.

But i dont really understand why its unlikely, in the xray you can see that the distal plate closed very recently and if everything goes normally shouldnt that mean my knee and spine plates have a high chance of still being open as they fuse later? im 17 and 2 months and the distal plate closed 1-6months ago. Is using a Ai really too late? i mean it wouldnt hurt to try right as hgh is good for other things aswell. Im not trying to be ignorant so apologies if i sound like that, im just really curious and wanna grow taller.

Distal radius is one of the last hand/wrist plates to fuse. Distal femur, proximal tibia, and vertebral endplates can fuse later especially in late bloomers. I can't see your knee/spine X-ray so I cannot confirm or deny without imaging.

It's currently borderline timing at best.

Get an X-ray of your knees and/or spine. You could squeeze out about 1-2cm if they're open.

you mean 1-2cm with hgh and ai? if thats the case then it doesnt really matter at that point

Yes.

True. Depends how much you care.
I would care if im missing out on alot of height gain but if its just 1-2cm then it doesnt really matter, its not like im extremely short aswell but thank you for your help i really apreciate it
