i need advice on what i should ask for specifically regarding my situation, sorry for this really low iq/low effort post.
for context, i already spent about 5 years in braces, they were removed when i was around 15; i’m now about 17.

current status:
- teeth are perfectly aligned
- possible deep bite
- palate width ~33 mm
- slightly recessed everywhere

i’m considering standard palate expansion since my palate feels very narrow. however, i’m trying to avoid screw-based expanders (like MSE) due to discomfort concerns and likely cost.

am i focusing on the right things, or should i be looking into something else?
it's really just to get something done and not waste my days, even if it's not mendatory.

after 5 years i only get pure trauma from screws and i don't want to lose my ability to talk for another 1 - 2 years especially meaning i'll be 18
Its worth it in the end my bro ❤️
I would sacrifice these 2 years time passes fast anyways

i just really doubt my mom or my ortho will say yes. my mom doesn't want me getting something that's not removable easily and the ortho will probably tell me that after all those years he can't prescrive it to me anyways. also palate expansion isn't just a quick easy fix as i also have to reallign my teeth afterwards.
