its about like some tech cult group who develop uploaded intelligence which is basically scanning peoples brains and placing them in servers where they can still live a normal life except they can customise everything and do whatever. But at the start its just used by companies to preserve their valuable workers and force them to continue working even after they died irl. Theoretically uploaded people can live forever however theres a problem with the upload process which deteriorates the uploaded people.

the leader of the cult who was trying to solve this problem years ago died so his followers r trying to bring him back

and stuff happens

the series is kinda short so i can't say much more without spoiling major stuff plus i haven't watched it in months so i don't remember everything
