Coping with genetic inferiority

My Hinge profile exploded after getting AI-faceswapped photos, faceapping them, and lying about height by 2-3 inches (I wear lifts though). My first dates almost never go well, but I have managed to pull a few. My question is, how can I determine if my lack of success comes from me not looking like my photos or me being an awkward fuck? On the one hand, there was one girl (who I slept with, but decided not to see again after she asked when our next date was) who told me that I didn't like my photos at all. On the other hand, there have been girls who plainly told me I wasn't a catfish, with one hookup lying next to me in bed putting the photo next to my face, and making comments on my hair.
