Basically I'm taking engineering a shit university, and I want to transfer into business at another university.
The issue that my marks arent really that great, and I'd need to make up for them with my extracurriculars

What are some good business-oriented ECs that I could have on my application?
Or what type of business could I create that would look impressive?
Im in Canada btw

All advice would be welcome
and no "start your own onlyfans :feelshah:" or shit like that

if this is a post for the moneymaxxing section then just move it there plz 🙏

If you had good enough grades to get into engineering I’m sure you could get into business

Some buisness ECs that come to my mind

Become a member of a DECA or FBLA chapter at your school

Launch a small business or startup

Start an investment club or portfolio management group at school

Wharton Summer High School Program, MIT Launch etc. Extremely competitive but would look great on the resume.

I know you didn't ask for my opinion but a business major on its own is pretty much useless irl. it's a meme degree because of the lack of mathematical skills. Anything about management you can learn spending thousands of dollars in a business degree can be learnt by simply working for a business and climbing the ladder.

Unlike STEM, the entire field in general is more dependent on work experience and real world skills than something you learn through books but I assumr you like most of people on this forum don not care about uni and just want a degree to pass some time and to party in thr meanwhile in which case it's fine since business majors are not too tough.

I see. Maybe look into accounting it isn't as difficult as STEM so you can still party but it makes you more employable because you have a real world application. Advanced math is involved but it's manageable if you study a week before your tests. It is mostly formulas and it is predictable compared to abstract concepts in STEM fields.

Start a small hustle or join case competitions to show initiative and real-world problem-solving—business schools love that.
