I'm 18 and live in the UK. I want to know how often walking into takeaways etc and asking for jobs, actually results in getting a job. My mum is pushing me to do it but I'm unsure how 'worth it' it is and how I would actually do it. Any recommendations and help is heavily appreciated.

this is how i got my first job at 14 just go in there and larp as a polite young fella looking for some work have a smile and try and be charismatic as possible, the first one you do is always awkard but i find with every place you ask, you build confidence and it gets easier, also always be ready with a starter like : hi my names john im 18 i live locally just wondering if you guys where hiring. try ask as many places as posibble. trust me its worth it also a good way to reach low inhib
