need some ideas to tell ortho

so i just turned 16 and i have an ortho apt in 2 weeks. i have quite a recessed jaw and overjet so for facial acethics, what expanded should i get. i looked into mse but heard it could affect facial ascetics badly.

Yes but it leads to asymmetry worsening, so it's a trade for width if he actually needs it

Not by much though, the since the pressure will be in the middle and the suture begin hard, it just rotate the maxilla somewhat, so you wouldn't see increased width in cheekbones, but the most part that it is affected though is the alveolar base.

It does not increase the inter pupillary distance, it just rotates the infraorbitals a bit, almost no effects on the eyes themselves.

i think im just gonna ask the ortho cuz im hearing mixed results and im tryna ascend the most i can so i wouldn’t want to ruin symmetry and other things but i am in desperate need for some forward growth and a lot of it
