So im still in puberty and my growth plates are still open and I want to know how mk667 would help me because im pretty short and what the side effects are. I heard some guy say taking hgh supplements will stop my body from producing it naturally and i wanna know if thats true because another guy said thats false.

MK-677 is a growth hormone secretagogue, meaning it stimulates the body to release growth hormone. It mimics the hunger hormone ghrelin by binding to the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) located in the hypothalamus — the brain’s hormone control center.

When activated, the hypothalamus increases production of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) and decreases somatostatin, a hormone that normally inhibits growth hormone release. The GHRH travels to the pituitary gland and tells pituitary cells (somatotrophs) to start releasing growth hormone (GH) into your bloodstream.

The GH spreads to various tissues including the liver. GH binds to growth hormone receptors (GHRs) in the liver. Once bound, GH activates the JAK2-STAT5 pathway which is pretty complicated to explain so I’m just gonna sum it up for you. When the JAK2-STAT5 pathway is activated, phosphorylated STAT5 moves into the nucleus of the liver cell and binds to the DNA. This activates the gene that produces Insulin like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), and the liver produces IGF-1 into your bloodstream.

IGF-1 is the hormone that actually creates the growth in your body. I’m not gonna go into details of it just know that increasing IGF-1 is the goal of taking MK.
