Need some Some ortho expert to help me

First of all, i just turned 18, i used an expander when I was a kid but it wasnt enough i guess. I have an overbite with a slightly overjet as you can see in the pics. Basicaly my dentist want me to extract my 2 upper wisdom teeth and then put me elastics to fix my overbite, i asked an expander but He said it wouldnt be good cause my palate is already expanded and it would mess me up (crazy how he even said about upper pre molar extractions lol). Lestoa's thread mentioned wisdom teeth removal being necessary because if you leave them in bone resorption happens which limits your bone mass. However, this doesn't apply to your primary, visible teeth which should NEVER be extracted. IMO if you're hardmaxxing with a bimax then you should get your wisdom teeth removed anyway.

Now thats an absolutely low iq answer, fixing bite def affects your looks, the thing is how much will it affect.

Wisdom teeth is different from premolars. Wisdom teeth might not be that bad but with premolars they will push the jaw back and recess the face.

Yes extractions recess the face and airway causing breathing problems at night. Do expander and don't get elastics for overbite. Do lots of incisor chewing with hard gum if you are young.

get mse, wisdom tooth extraction wont do really much to you as your like 18 now, if he wants to extract teeth to fix overbite then change ortho, he is a bad one, if it is cuz your wisdom teeth are bad or whatever then do it, on the long run would be way better

what? mse expands your palate from the palate suture, it will be proportional

wisdom extractions are okay to get. they're usually a prerequisite for surgery anyways. premolars are the ones you want to avoid
