First of all, i just turned 18, i used an expander when I was a kid but it wasnt enough i guess. I have an overbite with a slightly overjet as you can see in the pics. Basicaly my dentist want me to extract my 2 upper wisdom teeth and then put me elastics to fix my overbite, i asked an expander but He said it wouldnt be good cause my palate is already expanded and it would mess me up (crazy how he even said about upper pre molar extractions lol). Lestoa's thread mentioned wisdom teeth removal being necessary because if you leave them in bone resorption happens which limits your bone mass. However, this doesn't apply to your primary, visible teeth which should NEVER be extracted. IMO if you're hardmaxxing with a bimax then you should get your wisdom teeth removed anyway.

Yh ik that i shouldnt get extractions guys, but i wanna know what should i go for, an expander maybe? I also want someone to elaborate if it will cause the damages i mentioned or will my teeth align, then what i should do abt overbite

Get rid of braces and don't remove teeth, stop trying to correct your bite, it doesn't affect your looks

Now thats an absolutely low iq answer, fixing bite def affects your looks, the thing is how much will it affect.
