Need someone experienced in orthodontistry braces

What should i get exactly? i cant get bite ramp cause my deep bite is too severe, i went for a consultation they said they would use class ii elastics, which i dont want cause they cause downward growth, but what do i exactly need to maximize forward growth and make sure nothing gets recessed etc, im obv going to get damon

are all elastics bad? or is it just class 2 elastics? cause most orthos here fix it with damon and elastics
