fuck that, no one should have to pay so much money just for the luxury of having clear skin like everybody else, I was bullied for my skin for YEARS when I was younger, I understand how you feel bro, send me 20$ and I'll be happy tbh, dm bhai

I had both severe eczema, and acne ranging from moderate-severe, and both at the same time, and here is my skin now ... first picture is me at 14, the second picture is me at 16, and the third picture is from 3 months ago

I also have the same issue, any new products or mild disruptions to my skin cause immediate redness and after a few days, dry cracked flaky skin, I can help you out bhai

ALSO, Accutane causes purging and redness lol

Niacinamide, tretinoin, toner c
affeine solution, amino acids, salycylic acid lactic acid, theres a lot of things out there. Go to the ordinary.com and look at there stuff. Youll never know what works unless you buy it and try it out and see how your face responds

ok how often twice a day? or just my spf in the morning that has moisturiser in it
Moisturizer in the evening and spf in the morning yeah. Only wash your face at night with water only. The acutane will speed up cel turnover so you wont need a cleanser.

however much you need to, just apply it and if you get flaky then apply it again. also if you get flaky skin a ton just exfoliate or else you’re applying moisturizer to dead skin which does nothing

40mg for like 3 months
40/80 rotation (averages to 60mg a day)

took like 3 or so months to see good results, pretty sure i just started month 6 and haven’t had acne for over a month

so it started to get better at 3600mg roughly?

Yeah, that's 100% a fucked skin barrier. Accutane is a retinoid, it reduces oil production and thins out the outer layer of the skin. I'm guessing you also feel that its really dry in tight.

Stop any other retinoids and products you're using and stop exfoliating.

You need to use a gentle or hydrating cleanser, and only ever use that one once per day.

Get a moisturizer with HA and ceramide, those are usually called "repair moisturizers" or similar, and they're called that for a reason. Don't forget to apply this while your skin is damp! You could also try to throw niacinamide on top of that, but that's a 50/50 thing, might help redness, might not.

SPF wise you only want to use mineral based ones while on accutane.

If your skin feels extra dry you can also try a face oil before going to bed.

If your skin doesn't get better in like a month go to your derm.

im at 2000mg rn in a month i'll have done 3800mg out of 7200mg cumulative, ok so apparently i can cut out cleansing and just moisturise and spf, i dont have a mineral spf im just using cerave moisturising spf is that ok

If I found the right one online then its "fine". But its a chemical SPF, while it has HA, ceramides and niacinamide in it, it might actually be the chemical portion of the actual SPF that fucks you up.
