need surgery advice

I am currently softmaxxing but im realizing it wont be enough, here are some morphs i made simulating a genioplasty

This is definitely an improvement, but i'm not sure if it's enough. Gonial angle is still high (135 on side 1 and 130 on side 2), definition is lacking a bit, etc. Should i also pursue bimax with ccw rotation? Problem is that it would take alot more time, effort and money for me to get both bimax and genio. If i was to only get genio i could have that done alot sooner. Or maybe theres some other procedure i'm not thinking of? btw i'm 18 and I have an overbite

honestly, im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to it but if u already do have an overbite, consider bimax 100%, esp since u have slight maxilla recession, bimax + genio is probably the best option for u.

finding a surgeon who will do bimax and ccw is hard and expensive. consider wrap around implants for ur jaw if ur not satisfied

thanks, i gave it some thought and yeah a bimax + genio is ideal. The slight maxilla recession idgaf about honestly, but the overbite + lower jaw / chin recession definetly makes the bimax worth it.

However this is in a perfect world, i don't have unlimited time or money. I think a genio on its own would probably do a good amount of ascending. I can try to get a bimax for free through swedish public health system, but maybe the surgeon would disregard aesthetics and focus on functionality too much?

Is it possible to get bimax after genio? Or to get genio and then have orthodontics done to fix my overbite? like invisalign or something maybe

Yeah classic orthodontics are highkey cope, i might get a palate expander though.

I’m still researching but it's looking very grim ngl. Finding a private surgeon in sweden that is willing to do bimax (with ccw rotation) + genio is quite hard. Most plastic surgeons here only offer like botox and fillers, its pretty hard to find ones that do jaw surgery. I could try to get bimax through the public health system, but from what ive read online its quite hard to get approved unless you have severe functional issues. And even if i do get approved theres still the chance that the surgeon wont have much of an eye for aesthetics and more for functional change, and therefore would probably not give me much ccw rotation either. But idk im still looking researching so i'll see.

Worst casescenario ill have to geomaxx as you say, but im not going to india lmfao. i'd go to like barcelona or italy probably. Id rather save up money and pay more then go to some shitty surgeon in turkey and risk getting botched.

are you sure that getting genio first and bimax later is fine tho? even with different surgeons? wouldn't they advance the mandible during BSSO and fuck up the chin alignment?

I'm 6 foot 4 and mtn. My genetics are really good, both my parents were very good looking in their prime, especially my dad. If i had developed correctly i would have easily been HTN at the very least. i'm a very ambitious person and the life i envision myself living won't really work the way i currently look. Im not chasing perfection im chasing what i should have looked like in the first place.
