Need tips (6'6 and skinny fat)

Hi guys, so yeah I'm 26 and I'm 6'6, I'm French so excuse my bad English
I have a top looksmax plan, where I'd like some advice is on the physical aspect, I weigh 97kg so I'm almost at BMI 25, and I want to be lean so should I go straight to the gym? And is there a truly optimal diet? Because I read everything and its opposite and it hurts my head. Thanks ;)

im the same height , 17 was also skinny fat a year ago i wouldnt recomend trying to loose the fat just do a crazy bulk with gym to fill out frame and then cut

don't think about your weight too much, it's all about bodyfat %, eat high protein and eat on a small calorie deficient. You don't need to work out at all really

Mange seulement 500 calories par jour pendant deux mois et tu seras prêt. Pourquoi es-tu si grand ? D’où tu viens ?

Otherwise I had thought of doing a clean diet based on lean protein, complex carbs vegetables and company + a full body program 3x a week and sport on the side
But here on the looksmax it likes to complicate things, especially at the diet level 🤣

Yeah, being lean is my priority. Muscle is important, I know. But I prefer to start with the lean path 👌🏻

Je fais 183 cm et avec 500 calories par jour j’ai perdu 20 kilos en 2 mois. Peut-être que tu devrais plutôt essayer 1000 calories.

he's probably more fat than he actually thinks he is, barely anyone on this forum has a good concept of body fat and always under reports how fat they actually are. what reason would there be for him not to gym whilst leaning out, i'm sure he'd be able to recomp even without anabolics.

I don't know if I'll get an answer, in my opinion it's up to me to test the methods, because I know that someone here soon will recommend the vegan diet or the raw meat diet, and tell me that fruit is bad for my health, and then I'll tear my hair out and buy minoxidil. Then you weren’t skinnyfat, just skinny without abs JFL.

If you’re truely skinnyfat(have a gut and small arms but look normal in a shirt), you have a high bodyfat and should cut till you have a flat stomach, if you don’t, you risk bulking with poor insulin sensitivity and gaining mostly fat.

If you have no gut, just a flat stomach, yeah you can bulk. Thats not skinnyfat, just skinny without abs.

there isn't a problem with the gym, just serves close to no purpose if he just wants to lean out. If he wants to he can, it just won't make a difference on his physique

what the fuck is this nonesense you're even spewing, working out won't make a difference on his physique :lul:? once again if he actually wants to improve his body and not look like an auschwitzmaxed lanklet then he should gym alongside his weight loss.

if he is on a cut, gym won't give him any muscle lol, it can help him maintain some but it'd be the same effect of just have a minor deficit, if he is on a bulk then yes he should do weight lifting
 
That's why I think I'll go to the gym, PPL 5 days and then with my size honestly I'll stay slim no matter what 😂

with as much body fat as he has and assuming he's untrained he will 100% recomp, he can also roid if he really wants a DRAMATIC change.

I think you're right, I need muscle mass, keeping in mind that the ultimate goal is to be lean. I think the gym is an essential step for me.

Après si j'ai fais ce post c'est surtout pour la diète, car ici ça dit que manger carnivore c'est optimale, enfin je suis un peu perdu 😂
 
I'd like to know if it's really a good idea to go on a carnivore diet. My sports coach recommends: Complex carbohydrates, avocado fat, olive oil, almonds, lean protein (no red meat), veggies, fruits and lots of protein. What do you think?
