I'm currently doing full body 3x a week usually 3x10-12 I've heard how higher frequency and lower volume could be better but I don't know enough to actually come to a conclusion. Can someone who actually knows about this stuff help me understand?

that is fine, just make sure your volume isn't too high with 3 sets (per exercise?)

it may be too much for you to recover from depending on how much volume you hit total weekly

what is your current total sets per muscle group per week?

i will stand by 2x failure for as long as i stand.

full body 3x a week
this is great i fw this heavy
this is just fatiguemaxxing. at 10-12 youre probably not going hard enough which is why id suggest taking 1-2 sets to mechanical failure or atleast 1-2 RIR

its somewhat irrelevant depending on how many exercises he is doing

sets per exercise don't matter, its total sets per muscle groups in a session

lower 3x12 to 2x6
one exercise per muscle group (except back, do a upright row and a pulldown)

no need to isolate rear delts and traps that way

somewhat true, fboed is low sets per muscle group unless hes doing some weird type of fboed.

and since its that way, id always suggest low volume and high intensity.

+ speaking from experience i always hated training 3x10, only saw real progress with 1-2 to failure
