negatives of iliac crest reduction?

I have relatively wide hips and i am wondering if iliac crest reduction is actually worth it. I have heard you could have quite some problems with your balance and walking after the surgery which is why I'm hesitant (also quite expensive) also i don't know any reputable surgeons who perform this surgery since it is not performed too often purely for cosmetic reasons.

don't think so, only simptom i see matching is me having very minimal gyno which has mostly dissapeared over time and my hips aren't as wide as most pictures i'm seeing im just not happy with my shoulder/hip ratio

working on it, is there also any way to make the seem between my hips and waist not noticable? as my waist is really small in comparison to my hips
