LARPING SMART = being good at useless things nobody cares about, like chess.
Because chess doesn't appeal to most people, truly smart individuals don't bother with it—which makes it easy to automatically rise to the top.
This is why nerds gravitate toward pointless subjects like chess, philosophy, and history: they are not only easy to learn, but it is also easy to reach the top of these fields. Ask a "dark philosophy" fan to do something hard like coding, and you'll realize how dumb they are.
REAL SMART = good at fields where the smartest people actually compete, like coding, where money are on the line.
Too many people obsess over niche topics—like dark philosophy "sigma" , World War II ,chess—and convince themselves they are geniuses, not realizing they only excel because nobody else give af.
