Our character is in the basement because he was skipping eating class. And had a lot of missed homework before his 3rd grade geometry regents. He couldn’t find his way out because there was so much unfinished homework plus he was too dumb to know his way out. He picked up an hour old juul and smoked some air, but the fluid alarm went off and air started to fill the basement, he could breathe! He had to get out before something. He climbed up a really obvious hole in the ceiling. He ended up in a higher level of the basement. He was in a long hallway with window like features that led to other hallways parallel to the one he was in… also the room was completely dark so he couldn’t have seen it anyway. He heard over the intercom there was evidence that a kid had brought a weapon to school. As soon as the announcement was over, a nerf dart pricked him in the foot. It had a tack in the end… He realised in a heartbeat something that had haunted him all his life something that he’d never thought about until now, something that will change the way he thinks about children's games… it was that he needed more nerf darts, using the flashlight on his phone he saw the dart, picked it up and began heading the way it came.
Origins
The school was pretty crappy (the building), it didn’t have safe doors, heat stroke killed kids in the summer and hyperthermia did the same in the winter. But at least the teachers did a good job. As opposed to public schools where the teachers did… a job. As Our protagonist is lazy but is getting at least getting grades other than 0… right now he’s at .5 for his gpa, past a fetus and catching up to a rat. Most of his friends got grades that were at least passing and, some kids did get good grades... But no-one knew because they usually hung out with each other like an elite society, but were really boring and used ifunny on a daily basis. The school functioned like a hierarchy with the most popular kids having the lowest grades and the most friends. While the smartest kids had the best grades and the least friends. But there is a rift in the tiers where your so dumb you don’t have friends, (these are the people who take being called “Special” as a complement) and there is yet another shift where your so astronomically dumb that you’re smarter than the smart kids, this is the tier of our protagonist who is currently trying to keep this secret by staying near absolute 0 on the iq scale.
Our protagonist is walking toward the person with the nerf gun and as he got closer he saw a 9 year old with a nerf gun that had fortnite stickers on it as well as a super- soaker he sprayed the kid and made him pretty cold then the nine year old knocked him out and took his lunch money. The kid died of mesothelioma, shortly after his class graduated... normies and Npcs took over the school, constantly shouting their unironic cries of “KOBE!” and “Damn Daniel” as well as dabbing whenever possible to soothe their cravings.
