Approximately 1 in 31 (about 3.2%) children in the U.S. and roughly 1 in 100 children worldwide are diagnosed with autism, indicating a rising, generally accepted prevalence rate of around 1% to over 3% depending on the region and study. Boys are about 3–4 times more likely to be diagnosed than girls. [1, 2, 3]

WTF

Approximately 2.8% of U.S. adults (about 1 in 35) experience bipolar disorder annually. Lifetime prevalence is estimated at 4.4% in the U.S.. Worldwide, an estimated 0.5% to 2.4% of people are affected by the condition, which causes extreme shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels

WTF

Schizophrenia
affects approximately 0.3% to 1% of the global population, which translates to roughly 1 in 100 to 1 in 300 people. While widely cited as impacting 1% of people, some studies suggest the prevalence is closer to 0.3%–0.7%, with about 24 million people affected worldwide

WTF

Estimates suggest that roughly 1% to 5% of the general population may exhibit psychopathic or sociopathic traits, with higher prevalence rates often cited for Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), ranging between 2% and 3%. These conditions are more common in men (~3%) than women (~1%), with significantly higher concentrations found within prison populations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Maybe our modern hyperindividualized society is beginning to select for some autistic traits
