There's a study that gets posted on here a lot where-in, in rough summary, they found that autistic people's decisions, even ones that significantly impacted them positively or negatively, were not impacted by being in a group or being in private, while non-autistic people saw significant changes in their choices when they were in public vs making the same choices in private.
