Dating someone from work is a guaranteed disaster. I've seen it time and time again. All office romances start with the illusion of muh connection but they very quickly turned into shit power imbalances, favoritism, and HR nightmares. Your productivity will tank hard, your professional reputation will be ruined and gossips are never ending.

And once it ends and it will end I can guarantee it and that is when the real picture begins. You're stuck seeing her face daily in meetings, dealing with awkwardness, potential retaliation, or forced transfers, Careers get derailed, promotions questioned. Save yourself of all this Hollywood soap opera drama and don't shit in the same place you eat. Keep it professional. Be warm and nice to eveyrone at the workplace but don't make it your send home. Always maintain some distance with, your professional contacts are not your irl friends. Mixing the two ends very badly trust me you'll just self sabotage

I've always given people the same advice, dating someone from your workplace is asking for trouble. The last thing you want after breaking up with your girlfriend is having to see her at work, the gym, etc.
Obviously, breaking up with someone you work with is a much riskier situation than breaking up with someone you met elsewhere. But still, i like to keep my romantic relationships separate from work and my friend group. That way, if or when things go to shit i don't have to deal with extra shit or awkward situations :ogre:
