I've always given people the same advice, dating someone from your workplace is asking for trouble. The last thing you want after breaking up with your girlfriend is having to see her at work, the gym, etc.
Obviously, breaking up with someone you work with is a much riskier situation than breaking up with someone you met elsewhere. But still, i like to keep my romantic relationships separate from work and my friend group. That way, if or when things go to shit i don't have to deal with extra shit or awkward situations
