In a lack of a better term I’ll just call them attention whores

When u start to look presentable you might get women who will give u signs that they are into you but at the same time make u question it because they want ur attention for her own dopamine

For example if she’s constantly is complimenting you daily, looking at u but then will at the same time also not give u an opening to take things further with her like go out etc it’s very likely she’s just that she wants ur attention

Don’t fall for it as soon as u start ignoring her and being cold she will flirt with u more untill she hooks u back in and follows the same pattern

They do this with multiple men better to not fall for the trap

The most cruel part of it is ur onitis might do it. She notices u like her then she starts to pretend she likes u back just to keep u in the loop
