When you have a good eye area with a bit of UEE, slightly squinting in photos is just part of posing to make your eye are look it's best. In Chico's instagram stories where his eyes are relaxed you can clearly see his UEE, a bit of UEE is normal and most of the top eye areas have it.

This doesn't work if you have subhuman levels of UEE though, the slight squint will do nothing for you and if you squint hard to hide all of it you'll just end up looking like a massive aspie.

Can't say I blame them, I can't even imagine what it's like to have to cope with subhuman eye area but sadly the squinting just makes it look even worse. Eyelid retraction, orbital decompression and almond eye surgery or death.
