A lot of people have this idea that women are impressed when you have a good physique and you tell them that youve been going to the gym six days a week for years but admitting that youve put in work for your success makes women lose admiration for you. Subconsciously everybody always envies people who are effortlessly successful at a specific field more than those who have worked for it. Men at least are generally wise enough to understand that A its almost impossible to be good at something without working for it and B that being resilient and determined is more admirable than being naturally gifted at something. As per usual, women totally fail to make any distinction between the two. For example, they believe that a man can have an incredible physique (most notably the whole dad bod bullshit) by just working on a farm or some similar nonsense. By extension, when you tell a woman that no, you did in fact spend hours in the gym almost every day and you made incredible sacrifices in order to get to that point she immediately loses respect for you since she knows that your genetics are not as good as she (unreasonably) expected. Its also possible that some people use this absolutely ridiculous line of reasoning where they say “if I dedicated so much time/effort into it I would have the same results” in order to downplay hard work. In short if a woman asks you how you got your physique just tell her you work construction or you grew up on a farm or some shit. Hard work and the personal qualities which are demanded for it mean absolutely nothing to women
