Agreed. As someone who has lived on all 4 corners of each combination of friends, no friends, going to parties, and not going to parties, the people are what makes the experiences fun. If you don’t have friends you genuinely like your life will be miserable. Parties won’t change that, but if you already have friends they’re a great experience

no. i didn't even go to graduation jfl. it felt so empty, being at those dances. the games were fun but only because i went with friends, but nothing special about school events. it's all performative shit. it's the people that matter ultimately, going to some event won't make u happy
