This ain’t how it plays out ( in my experiences at least ) . The more work I had to put in, the LESS satisfying the reward. Because, the more effort it takes to get a given reward, the less “worth the squeeze” the reward is.

• If you endure 5 units of suffering to earn 100 units of reward, the reward is giga satisfying.
• If you endure 200 units of suffering to earn 100 units of reward, the reward would piss you off because of how small it is compared to your effort.
