if we extract adipose derived stem cells, (harvested from adipose tissue) make little 3d spheres out of them and combine them with b-tricalcium phosphate (a biocompatible scaffold which has bone mimicking properties) and pre differentiate the cells with a osteogenic medium we could grow osseous tissue in intended areas
this has been tested by the osaka metropolitan university with mice that suffered osteoporosis and the treated animals exhibited both bone volume increase and improvement on mechanical stress the bone can withstand

we take fat and put in bone-like material so it becomes like bone and we put fake bone on real bone and real bone heals and grows using fake bone

this already exist i forgot the name of it though, basically fat that grows into a bone
