I have never seen anyone talk about this method but i will be personally trying it in a few days.

Concept:

If you have ever tried jutting your mandible, you will notice that your teeth don’t rest on each other there is a space between your bite that visually increases your lower third, and from the outside it looks like your ramus and chin got taller.

Of course, this is an uncomfortable and hard-to-maintain position. You will also look autistic and everyone will notice that you are jutting, so doing this 24/7 is unrealistic.

So how do we make this permanent and comfortable in a resting position?

The idea:

-I will go to my dentist and tell them that my retainers are broken

-they will give me a new pair (they are not broken this is just larp to get an extra pair in case i fuck up)

-then i will go home, take my old retainers and cut them like this:

(both the upper retainers and lower)

-i will place them on my second and third molars (maybe third ones too depending on the cut)

-if they were too loose i would modify them with heat so they can stay in place and not fall out

How it works:

By placing the retainers on all four corners of the mouth, you increase the resting height of your bite. It’s almost as if your molars got taller by a few millimeters—but as we know, a few millimeters can make a big difference, especially if your lower third or chin is small.

The idea is to wear them 24/7, or at the very least every time you go out. This would increase the vertical length of the ramus, chin, and lower third in general.

Another method:

There is another method that i thought of that is actually even better.
It consists of doing the same but isntead of plastic reteainers, it would be possible to use Resin composite bite turbos

Dentists usually install these in patients with braces to make space in the bite so the teeth dont touch the braces. I personally had this done 2 years ago and i remember while i had it my lower third looked taller untill they took it off. Also it was not uncomfortable at all, it felt pretty natural.
I think this method is the better option but it is trickier to do and requires more materials:

Posible downsides/concerns:

Many of you will immediately say that doing this method will give you an open bite or some kind of malocclusion

There is a chance that this might happen but not in all cases and it depends on a few factors, for example if you have very small teeth vertically like these:

then you probably should not do this method

But remember we are increasing the height just by a few mm. In my case if i open my bite a few mm i still have no gaps in my smile.

This method could also cause the following problems acording to chat gpt:
  • posterior collapse
  • TMJ pain
  • tooth intrusion
  • unstable occlusion
  • chewing problems
However i belive this would only happen if:

-you clench very hard 24/7 (which you shouldnt be doing anyways)

-you increase the bite height by too much, be it with the retainers or the bite turbos. ( the idea is to not go over 3mm)

-if you do this for a very long period. (this is a temporary fraud until i get surgery or implants, not for life)

Please keep in mind this is just a theory, and i need to try it first

but so far i think its a good temporary fraud, especially the composite resin option.

Any feedback is appreaciated, I will try to update everyone when i actually try it.

What i do to fraud lower third is this (might seem weird) is putting my tongue between my teeth. This allows for a solid cm.

1 = Teeth

2 = Tongue

Sorry for the shitty illustration but cba to put effort

Upper teeth lightly rest on tongue in a way that you can only subtly feel lower and upper teeth on your tongue.

This allows for more subtle jutting imo too. Sucking in your cheeks in my experience helps keep the tongue in place and makes it much easier to keep it. After about two months of doing this its just my normal resting face, i have to consciously stop doing this before sleeping. Its that unnoticeable

Forgot to mention it but ive been actually doing this but its not sustainable at all, for me it causes discomfort and pain if i do it for more than 5min, might be beacause of my subhuman palate width and my sharp ass teeth tho

Just get a lefort
i dead ass have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks with a surgeon, ill try to convince them that i have sleep apnea, swallowing issues etc. hopefully thats enough and insurance will cover it.

Retarded stupid shit, get BSSO with 3 point landing to increase height, then maybe implants as a last resort after if your still not satisfied

obviously thats the goal, this is a temporary fraud as i mentioned in the post
