Let me demonstrate a crucial aspect of facial harmony: The Chin to Nose Height Ratio.
Here's how you measure it: Divide the distance between the bottom of the chin and the top of the upper lip by the distance between the bottom of the nose to the top of the iris.
Keep in mind to measure from the bottom of the outermost part of the nose, not the columella, since a droopy tip can makes the nose look longer and distorts the measurement.
Both measurements should be equal, giving a ratio of 1:1.
Some Examples:
Adriana Lima
0.99
Doutzen Kroes
0.99
Madison Beer
0.97
Sean O’Pry
1.02
Henry Cavill
0.98
David Gandy
0.90 (mediocre)
This is actually one of the very few weakpoints of Gandy. He would look better if his upper lip was taller and his chin slightly longer.
