New school feeling nd

I decided to transfer to a different school because in the previous one I got bullied for being a foreigner who didn’t speak the language that great. i don’t really have friends but it’s not a problem to me. My new class is pretty good it’s only nine people and there’s this girl who I guess showed interest in me, when I just got first added to the class group chat in the summer she texted me and I honestly got scared and just said “yes” to everything she said. Of course I regret it a lot but now that the school started I guess she wants to be friends because she plays eye tag with me, she always stares at me throughout the day, she laughs at my jokes that I didn’t even say to her and now I just don’t know if I should approach her or do something because I do have like an interest in becoming friends I even have a crush on her so idk this whole situation makes me so sad just to even think about it.
