Newest Study Disproves Ray Peat for the Schizo Fucktard He Always Was

Give me a quick run down bro tf

How does that disprove peat? Surely a dietitian would not like soda.
Lmfao you clearly don’t know peat then. He’s a huge advocate for the consumption of sugar (especially in the form of easily digestible Coke) for muh metabolism and anti oxidation benefits. Apparently here proves the exact opposite once and for all.

Extremely poorly done study, what does this even mean? Cola based soft drink? Are they using coke and water, coke and some other drink, coke with cane sugar, coke with hfcs?

Also results seem dose dependent and age dependent

In the frontal cortex, soft drink intake reduced CAT activity in the 8-month-old rats and SOD activity in the 8- and 14-month-old rats. In the hippocampus, the soft drink increased CAT activity in 2- and 8-month-old rats,

Bro I just wanna get to the truth how could these variables reasonably lead to this drastic a diff outcome.

I never claimed to know Peat stupid incel. The rats should have been fed a carbonated sugar water as well.

I always found fault in how these studies are basically megadosing rats with whatever they're studing. A rat eating a %1000 daily serving by body weight and no other liquid of soda is bound to cause problems yet normal consumption could easily fall within an acceptable risk tolerance.

Just as I figured they think the type of sugar doesn’t matter and also dosing it w phosphoric acid which is balanced by a high calcium intake in real life human situations. They were probably force feeding the rats as well:

“However, in the present study, we evaluated cola-based soft drink that besides sugar (fructose, corn syrup, sucrose) it has ingredients like caffeine, phosphoric acid, and caramel color that can contribute to brain toxicity.”

fructose is not like other sugars and too much sugar is indeed bad for you
